More ProviderOne News from Emdeon

Based upon the below information Emdeon Dental will be pending all new WA Medicaid enrollment requests until May 9, 2010.  The enrollment forms have been replaced on our website with the attached.  Any new enrollment requests received by the Dental Enrollment team will be pended.  Requests for Batch Claim enrollment will be notified via phone while ERA enrollment requests will have their status changed to 'Problem at Payer'.

Updated enrollment information will be available as the go live date for ProviderOne nears.

Please pay particular attention to the below information and share as appropriate with your support staff.

Providers who have already applied to become a new Medicaid provider will receive a confirmation letter once approved.  Providers, who receive their confirmation letter after April 1, should wait for the new payment system to go live on May 9 before billing the Department. If these providers submit their bills prior to May 9, the old system will not recognize them as a provider and their claims will deny .

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,

Today, ProviderOne Executive Sponsors Susan Dreyfus and Tony Tortorice agreed to a recommended May 9, 2010 go-live date for ProviderOne. The attached document provides key information regarding this announcement, including the cutover schedule and a list of changes ProviderOne will bring.

If you are not doing so already, the most important activity you can do is test, practice, and verify that you understand the new ProviderOne billing requirements. This is an unprecedented opportunity to verify that you will get paid once ProviderOne goes live. For details on testing, go to http://hrsa.dshs.wa.gov/ProviderOne/EPRT.htm .

Thank you for your continued diligence and support in preparing for ProviderOne.

WHAT IS PROVIDERONE?

The Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) is replacing its current Medicaid Management Information System with a new payment processing system we have named ProviderOne.  ProviderOne will be the primary provider payment processing system for DSHS.  When fully operational, it will pay about 100,000 providers who serve 1 million people who qualify for DSHS services each year.  Visit our website http://hrsa.dshs.wa.gov/ProviderOne to learn more.

A little about our software ...

Powerful Simplicity

Our software is family orientated.

We use a simple diagram displaying all the family members so you can tell instantly who has Insurance and who doesn't as well as Who has pending claims.

At the same time the account balance is displayed in an aging strip along the bottom of the window.
The family's ledger is displayed along with the most recent Collection Notes

If you look at the People Window you may even see a picture of the patient along with home, work, cellphone, pager numbers and email address.

All this power for only a couple of mouse clicks.

Scalability.

Our software is salable along two important dimensions: Practice Growth and Network Sophistication. Our software can support complex multi office clinics using Windows XP Servers connected over a wide area network as easily as it can a single doctor practice using a good home computer.
