More ProviderOne News from Emdeon
Based upon the below information Emdeon Dental will be pending all new WA Medicaid enrollment requests until May 9, 2010. The enrollment forms have been replaced on our website with the attached. Any new enrollment requests received by the Dental Enrollment team will be pended. Requests for Batch Claim enrollment will be notified via phone while ERA enrollment requests will have their status changed to 'Problem at Payer'.
Updated enrollment information will be available as the go live date for ProviderOne nears.
Please pay particular attention to the below information and share as appropriate with your support staff.
Providers who have already applied to become a new Medicaid provider will receive a confirmation letter once approved. Providers, who receive their confirmation letter after April 1, should wait for the new payment system to go live on May 9 before billing the Department. If these providers submit their bills prior to May 9, the old system will not recognize them as a provider and their claims will deny .
Please let me know if you have any questions.

WHAT IS PROVIDERONE?
The Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) is replacing its current Medicaid Management Information System with a new payment processing system we have named ProviderOne. ProviderOne will be the primary provider payment processing system for DSHS. When fully operational, it will pay about 100,000 providers who serve 1 million people who qualify for DSHS services each year. Visit our website http://hrsa.dshs.wa.gov/ProviderOne to learn more.
